Movaro render benchmark
Three videos. Six devices. Every composite faster than real time.
We rendered the same 30-second, 2m 04s, and 8m 30s projects with the Movaro Default layout at Standard quality and 4K resolution. Full composites completed at 1.3× to 3.1× real time across the tested hardware.
Full composite
4K video with overlays baked in
These are complete export times. A result above 1.0× means the export finished before the source video would finish playing.

Transparent overlays
Telemetry layers for another editor
Overlay-only exports generated the transparent telemetry layer at 3 fps without compositing it over the source footage.

One-device comparison
Movaro and DaVinci Resolve on the M1 MacBook Air
This comparison covers one tested machine, not every configuration. Across the three projects, Movaro completed the composites in 8m 22s versus 11m 56s for DaVinci Resolve—30% less elapsed export time in this test.
On the longest project, Movaro finished 2m 52s sooner: 6m 18s instead of 9m 10s.
The DaVinci Resolve version and export configuration were not recorded with this benchmark set, so this is a contextual result, not a controlled cross-application certification.
| Source | Movaro | DaVinci | Time saved |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 seconds | 28s | 33s | 5s |
| 2 minutes 4 seconds | 1m 36s | 2m 13s | 37s |
| 8 minutes 30 seconds | 6m 18s | 9m 10s | 2m 52s |

What these numbers include
Each device rendered the same three project durations using the Movaro Default layout, Standard quality, 4K output, and 3 fps overlay cadence. The average speed is weighted: total source duration divided by total elapsed render time across all three videos.
- Source durations
- 30s · 2m 04s · 8m 30s

These figures are practical elapsed-time measurements, not a laboratory certification. Source media, codecs, cache state, operating-system version, power mode, thermals, and background workload can change performance. Platform benchmark results do not indicate current public availability.
